      John, the youngest child of Jeremiah and Sympia R. mason Brounaugh, was borng January, 1743, died 1777. He married Mary Ann Carter in 1767. Their home was in Stafford County, Virginia. He owned land in Fauquier and Loudoun Counties. Mrs. Ann Mason, mother of George of Gunston Hall, left to "John Bronaugh, son of my sister Bronaugh of Fairfax County, five hundred acres of land lying in Loudoun County."
