Fils de Daniel Hippolyte du Suau de La Croix, né à La Nouvelle-Orléans. et de Pauline Stéphanie de Livandais, de l'état de la Louisiane tous deux demeurant 5 avenue de Marigny à Paris. Grand technicien et innovateur du travail sur les émaux translucides de grand feu, à double haut relief cabochon sur métal à jour. Il travailla avec son fils et sa belle-fille, Mlle de Montigny. Il exposa régulièrement au Salon des artistes français de 1898 à 1913. Prénom orthographié Henry sur l'acte d'état civil.

Son of Daniel Hippolyte du Suau de la Croix, born in New Orleans and Pauline Stephanie Livandais, state of Louisiana both remaining 5 Avenue de Marigny in Paris. Great technician and innovative work on high fire translucent enamels, high relief double cabochon-metal to date. He worked with his son and daughter-Miss Montigny. He exhibited regularly at the Salon of French Artists from 1898 to 1913. Name spelled Henry on the vital record.
