    • New Orleans Sacramental Records, volume 3, page 281 has Jacque STAHIER (possibly a version of STEIGER), son of Jean and Marie CHAUVE (possibly SCHOFF) marrying Margueritte HAYDELLE on 2 Feb 1779.
      One of the witnesses was Antoine DE LATTRE.

      Could this be Jean Jacques STEIGER? He would be 22 yrs old at this time.
