    • He lived first in Gloucester and removed to Middlesex where he lived at "Grymesby" on the Pianketanke River. He was a justice and Colonel of Militia of Middlesex county and a vestryman of Christ Church parish. He married Alice, daughter of Lawrence Townley and granddaughter of Augustine Warner Sr, of "Warner Hall", Gloucester Co. (Henning, VIII, 630). [1]

    • John Grymes, his wife, and their daughter Anna were buried at "Grymesby" where their tombs remain. The epitaphs are as follows:
      Here lieth Interred The Body of Mr. John Grymes, who departed This Life in the Year Of our Lord 1709. [2]
